🙋♀️ "What is a 'Chee Alfuh'?"
One time we got asked this very question! But usually the first question we get is, "Are you a frat?" And the answer always begins with, "No but..." So let's clear up any confusion and share about who we are!
1
We are disciples who make disciples who...
Jesus' last words were to "make disciples of all nations" so discipleship shapes everything we do! We love learning together, growing together, and following Jesus together. And we really love empowering students to disciple students who disciple students who... well, you get the point.

We are part of a broader student movement on over 250 campuses
The first Chi Alpha began over 50 years ago and has blossomed into a student movement across the country and even in other parts of the world. The name "Chi Alpha" represents the first Greek letters "Christ's Ambassadors" originating from 2 Corinthians 5:20. You can find out more about our name, movement and history right here >> www.chialpha.com

We love the local church
We have no official affiliation with any local church but our pastoral staff are a part of a local church community that LOVES Chi Alpha and LOVES students. So if you're looking for a place to worship on Sundays then join us at Willamette Christian Center in Eugene. And if you need a ride, we got you!

We also love welcoming internationals
We love all kinds of students! And you'll notice in our very first section that Jesus told us to make disciples of all nations. We know that coming to the states can be an exciting but also overwhelming and difficult experience. That's why we have Chi Alpha Internationals or XAi for short. If you are an international student or you know one then send us a message or visit www.xaiducks.org.

We are affiliated with the U of O
We are a part of the University of Oregon's Religious Director's Association. That's a long title, we know. Here's what it means. We are an official UO student group on campus! It also means we know a lot of other amazing Christian communities on campus also. So if Chi Alpha isn't the right fit for you, then we'd love to help you find the right group for you!
